Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages

Two grape varieties and three colours. Welcome to Beaujolais. Chardonnay and Gamay rule a vast territory that stretches on 55 Km from the North to the South, and on 15 Km East to West.
Corbet beaujolais et beaujolais village

The Beaujolais is well-known and reputed for its red wines, mostly for the famous Beaujolais Nouveau, king of the third Thursday of November.

The white wine production is very low in this wine region, it only represents about 200 hectares in Beaujolais appellation, and 60 hectares in Beaujolais-Villages appellation so it barely represents 3% of the total surface of Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages appellations together.

The magnificent landscapes in the south of the Beaujolais vineyards bear their name perfectly : Les Pierres Dorées (which means « Golden Stones »). This is where Beaujolais wines are born.

We mostly work on the red wines from these two appellations. Historically present on the primeurs market in November, each year we also supply our customers with important volumes of Beaujolais and Beaujolais Villages.
