The History of our Company

Creation. Maison Corbet was then specialized in the trade of table wines and appellation wines from Burgundy and the Rhône Valley in bulk and in bottles.

Ideally located geographically, the company, managed by the two brothers Maurice and Raymond Corbet, has delivered for 50 years a very large clientele of wine bottlers and distributors in the North East of France.

In the 1960s, wine consumption in France was about 120 liters per year and per inhabitant; consumers went to the grocery store or to a distributor to get their wine in bulk…

At the dawn of the 2000s, the company refocused on the bulk wine trade by expanding its range and developing a winemaking activity focusing on Burgundy white wines with a range from Bourgogne Aligoté to prestigious villages whites from the Côte de Beaune via the Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnais.
